More shopping list...

Last week I have organised the kids wardrobe and looks like they're needing each an closet overhaul especially my 6yo who pretty much grown out all his tops and shirts as well as trousers. My oh my, it is going to be an expensive move. Anyway, I did some online shopping but most stuff I got is for my toddler and my eldest. Why am I surprised? I love girl's stuff and toddlers as they have many choices. Oh, having said, wardrobe overhaul, I think the builders we have who have work our garage needed a new carhartt coveralls. His one has ripped all over and looks filthy and worn out. I think with the price he charged he can afford more than one, don't you think? Or am I just being snobby? Lol!

The important of a Family Meal...

Couple years ago when we were on the process of moving to this house we are living and was still on house hunting, some agents explain to us why a living room and kitchen combined are becoming popular because most people have no time to dine in with their family for they each have their own daily routines to take care of every single day. At dining in with the family is only a yesterday trend/tradition. After hubby heard all of this, he was appalled and his eyes was rolling like thunder balls. He cannot believe was he was hearing from that agent. Hubby obviously disagree and was arguing with him. Because, in our house eating together sitting in the table is strictly imposed. Call him/or us a snob but we don't like our kids growing up in a bad habit eating anywhere in the house and anytime they'll like. Eating in front of the Television is another big "No, No" and I can see where its coming from.

I have read an article about what's in the shared-meal and how important it is for the family, the kids more importantly and according to Michael Elins " Kids who dine with the folks are healthier, happier and better students". Anyway, we parents have different views in raising our kids and I respect each and everyone's way of bringing up their children. We only wants the best for our kids after all.

Reliable Medical carts...

One of the most important thing to consider in hospital industry are good medical equipment such as computer carts, medical wall-mounted workstations, secured medical cabinetry and such. Howard-Medical.com hospital carts is proud to offer the best quality and reliable hospital equipment that is HI-Mobile, HI-Care as well as HI-Prodigy. If hospital should invest then they look no other than a Howard Medicals family of carts because it is well made and engineered to cater exactly what it is expected if not more...

My Simple Dining room

One of the viewer today asked if we could leave this dining furniture behind but I said 'NO' straight away. I love it as much as they do that is why we bought it. And we plan to keep it forever as a family dining table along with the display cabinet. It took us a while to find the table we want and as soon as we've seen this on display we fell in love with it and so we bought it. And to whoever will rent our house, I'm afraid it is going to be unfurnished. Sad to rent this place out but due to hubby's new job we have to relocate. At least, we have a house to come back at anytime if we dislike our soon-to-be new home and town.

V-day gift ideas...

Hearts day is not far off and I'm pretty sure everyone is thinking what to give to their respective partners and beloved behalf's. Black diamond earrings for girls/women and that will surely make their Valentines day extra special. Hinting to all husbands/Guys out there. Remember, Diamonds are girls bestfriends. Women are easy to please - be it shoes, handbags, clothes and jewelries - Men have your choice! What about Men? I personally think they are hard to buy gifts and as of now, I have no clue what to buy for my husband. I don't want to end up with just cards again or a shirts as he has enough to sink a battleship, lol. Any ideas?

Adorable 3...

First picture of them as 3 in this Lion sculpture at Tilgate park and Zoo. It was such a struggle but glad it came out just as good. Out of 3 Christian is the one who hates heights. But, he smiled eventually and that's when I got this almost perfect capture. Love them to bits...

Smoker Grills

It's bitterly cold here in UK right now and presumably the rest of the month. I can't wait for the February to be over as I'm excited for the spring freshness and sunshine. Not only that, there are tons of opportunity to enjoy outdoors during springtime and of course summer. Loads of things I missed doing outside and to name just a few; BBQ, Grilling, gardening and of course sunbathing. Speaking about BBQ and grilling, I am on looking for a wide assortments of smoker grills and hopefully to find one before spring. Must be affordable and durable - is that goes together? Hope so...

Big Family Christmas...

Christmas is traditionally a family event and still is. My husband's family spend most of the Christmas with the entire family. Whereas, back in Phil's it is the new year's eve that we traditionally gather as a family to welcome the new year together along with a 'Media Noche' and other potlucks. As to their new year here, it is about going out and partying with friends. But since I got here hubby and I and the kids strictly imposed a Phillipine traditional new year's eve with my family as how I was brought up to celebrate the event. Anyway, back to Christmas (which seems that long ago already) the entire Family came over to celebrate with us. We hosted the event for the first time and glad it went all fine. Thanked to the most reliable and amazing husband in the whole wide world - as I have no idea about preparing and roasting a huge Turkey, veggies and other bits and bobs. He did a great job! I was only his assistant -:) who made sure the kids will not disturb Daddy in the kitchen. As everyone agreed - it was the yummiest Turkey ever! Yes, stressful and a hell of an experience but was all worth it in the end. The family truly enjoyed the Christmas meal which started with tasty canape's that both my in-law's kindly contributed and a few finest bottles of Champagne's and wines then followed with the sumptuous lunch and finished it with a very fine Christmas pudding topped with the choice of brandy white sauce or custard. It was a success! And lastly, exchanged gift before everyone went home with a huge smile on their faces. That was one memorable Christmas! Well, must be as it was our first and last Christmas in that house unless we will come back to live in it again sometime in the future or when we finally retire. It's very likely as we love being close to the Capital.
