Snow Tubing & Crazy Gold at a Friend's b-day

This was 4 weeks ago but just got time to post it now. A family friend's son celebrated his 7th birthday at dry ski slopes and my kids were one of the invited guests along with the rest of the year 2's. Besides food and nibbles, there were also snow tubing, crazy golf and table football games. I actually fancy myself going on for snow tubing but unfortunately there wasn't a single spot left for me, lol. Anyway, I had a blast watching the kids enjoying every bit of the games. As always, I captured every moments and here's just a few that I want to share...Obviously, my kids in the picture as I don't want to get in trouble with other parents for posting too much pictures of their kids in my personal blog ;)

Potty train progress

Exactly 32 months that my son started potty train and it was only few days ago when he first wee in the potty and I am so proud that he eventually got the concept. Now, he is no longer in nappy during day time for couple days and he goes in his potty to wee even without me reminding him. Bravo to my little fella and next year he should be joining nursery school. WOW, is that quick! My baby is growing up so fast that I almost lost track that soon will also be my school boy just like his big sister and big brother.

Anyway, the next thing I need to do is to try him without a nappy during night time. Slowly and we will accomplish things in no time. For now, I am just happy that he is cooperating and is not giving me a hard time while we are on potty train stage. Though, he is kinda late for this compare to his older siblings but kids are totally different and have their own pace in learning. Yes, like my other two, I am just as proud of my baby!

A perfect Beach houses to rent

Today, I was invited for a lunch at a friend's beach houses for rent in Deganwy since it is empty for 4 days. She took advantage of the unoccupied holiday cottages nearby and invited us all over for lunch that she deliciously made from scratch. I was really impressed of her cooking skills and that put my cooking into shame since I do short cut recipes all the time. Oh well, I have to make an effort next time when I will invite them in my place for feasting session like she does. Anyway, aside from her sumptuous and mouthed-watering recipe's I also enjoyed the view of their beach cottages and oh, I'm amazed of how much they charge per week for the entire beach houses though. I personally think it is quite a lot but then again you get what you pay for. The beautiful beach view all day round is probably worth every penny. Nothing can beat that place and I am not surprised it is always fully book all year round. We we're lucky for that 4 days being empty as we got a day free accommodation for our eating events there and as well as this Thursday. Like this balcony view in the picture shown above, I think there couldn't be a better place to stay, right? Ideal scene and cottages for a romantic get-away or a whole family break. What could be more relaxing than a beautiful sunset view from the holiday beach houses like this. While you enjoy having a glass of wine the kids can also enjoy playing in the beach or relaxing in this Jacuzzi tub. Totally gorgeous!

Call me mad but I like to keep changing my bedroom covers and colours. It is becoming an obsession just liking handbags and shoes shopping, if not worst. Every now and then I keep eyeing for inspiration and new bedroom ideas. If given a chance, I would rearrange and redesign or even redecorate our bedroom but luckily budget is pretty limited after all the household bills and school fees. So the best thing I could come up with when adding or chaning room accessories and ornaments is to bargain hunt both online and in-store. Like my new find is the golden and blue stripes duvet cover (shown picture below) for £35 and additional £20 for the matching pillow cases. For super king size bed I think £55 is pretty good value, right? Well, the white covers came from my MIL and it is made with 100% Egyptian cotton which are very comfortable and cosy especially during cold season.

Ways to keep my kids behave...

Kids are a joy (yet tiring) and no matter how many toys and electronic gadget you provide them it still not enough to satisfied their needs. Sometimes it's challenging to keep them in the whole day or you'll have a place wrecked in no time. They are like dogs, you need to take them for a walk everyday. Well, they surely drive me nuts with their loud noises and worst fighting each other. Well, the boys are - they are just so hyper but at least they all do get along well. Only that their noise are unbearable at times, haha.

So, even if it is windy and cold I have no choice but take them for a walk or to the nearest play park. As long as it's not raining, I can do it. What I can't bear is having to hold umbrella's at the same time pushing the baggy. Oh, I can't wait for my youngest to walk longer distance without a constant begging  to be pick-up and you may think he is little but he can also get too heavy when carried too long and rest-assured I'll get back pain afterwards. Anyway, that is why I still need pushchairs unless it is only a short distance walk.

Here's a typical scene of me and my kids at the play ground. I play with the little one and my older two spend hours in that swing. They tend to lost their interest playing with their younger brother as soon as we get to the play area, lol. They immediately run to either the swing or monkey bars. Good thing the park is just 10 minutes walk. Yes, this is one of the things I do to keep them busy and keep my mind in place, haha.
