I'll see it again and again that time certainly flies, right? Or is it only because I'm getting older, lol. It seems like the older we get the more we noticed time. Whereas, to the younger ones, they complain how long their next birthdays and etc. To think about it, we just celebrate Christmas and new year and now its almost end of January again. I bet everyone is panicking about Valentines. What go give to their partner and all that. Me, I would just be happy to get flowers and oh, I'll certainly be hinting hubby on how romantic flowers delivery are...Like last year, he had to order roses for me as I demanded so, lol. This Valentines, I expect him to just do it without me telling him - it will then sound more romantic. Isn't it nice to received flowers delivered to your door? Well, I think so, anyway.

It seems a while ago already but just got time to upload the rest of my daughter's 10th birthday parties. Actually, I still have to upload the party #3 when I get chance. Ah, my life is full of list of things to do and never really able to finish them all. I'm sure all mother's out there can relate this. Our job is endless, right? My kids were a bit spoiled during the holidays for they got so many presents from us and from the rest of the family. My son got most of what he asked for as well as a yo yo. Sadly, it got broken just days after and he's upset about it until now. So, thought of getting him a new one and just just an ordinary yo yo but a special duncan yo yo. I think it can still be counted as a late birthday presents since it's only been a week from his birthday. Ah, the joy of parenthood, huh?

It's been 4 days and 3 nights since hubby is away. We are struggling coping the changes but we have no choice. My middle child is the one who suffer the most as he is the Daddy's boy. He's acting up a bit lately and a little sad and often quite, he clearly miss his Daddy a lot. But its all for good though, Daddy is taking up a step further and yes, a miles away from us too in exchanged for a job that pays 35% more of what he previously earning - in that way he can afford to send the kids to private school. He will be working away from us and coming home twice a month. For that reason, I resigned my part-time job to be a full-time Mother. And, I've never been happier and so relax in my entire life. I hope and pray that this is year is going to be an even better year for us.

Finally updated my blog here and little renovations too. I was getting bored of the same picture and header so I thought was about time for a change. It's 13:28 pm and in hour I'll be heading off for a school run. Glad I still got time to check out few things and first I have to check what is Hormone replacement therapy is all about. It sound really interesting and my curious mind is jumping off with some conclusions so have to check some fact before it will wash off the entire brain, lol. Anyway, this is going to be post and run for I need to do some chores before I pick the kids up.

Busy Bee...

I have been a busy bee this week and still a busy bee for the days and weeks to come. But I'm sure everyone too as Christmas is approaching. Anyway, as you all aware, I go to work every Monday and Friday part-timer) as I need extra Moolah's for my shopping extravaganza. Can't always rely on the husband for he is also paying tons of bills to keep the house running. If he is a millionaire then maybe it's a different story. Unfortunately, he isn't so, had to work my butt off to pay for my shopping spree and for the kids too. Okay, enough of that! On the other hand, I have been so productive this week. Did lots of things that I never thought I could do. Again, my thoughts was proven wrong. We'll never know until we try, aren't we? I only have those piles of ironing need to be done and I will not go to bed tonight until I've done it. [Sighed] Oh, before I forgot, I want to share the kids artificial tree upstairs at their playroom. Thanks to my little helpers for making it possible!

Instrumental Mind...

How cool it would be for your child to learn and play varieties of instruments? I thought it would be amazing to give this lifetime experienced to the kids. If I have all the money in the world, I certainly would give my kids the chance to experience all the good things in life. However, my kids has been so lucky that they have a wonderful Grandma who is a great pianist and a recorder. Kath learn to play piano from her and so far she can play many songs already. Recently, Grandma gave her something to practice before Christmas and I heard her play the songs every day. Not only that, Grandma gave her her first keyboard and recently, a proper keyboard too. Isn't she lucky? She is keen to play drum, harp and violin - so maybe that will be Mummy's little list of things to do when we move to Wales to find her a school to play with such instruments.

Kuya C's class Assembly

25/Nov/'11 - was my 5 yr old's class Assembly. And, it was the first time I came and watched it for last year I wasn't able to, for some reason. I made it sure this year that I can come along with Daddy and of course baby Will in towed. The teachers were right to suggest to the parents with babies and toddlers - if it is possible not to bring the little ones to the Assembly for they will make noise and distract the kids. Because, baby Will cerytainly did! But, glad he wasn't the only though. He was just excited to see his big brother in front, performing. - He can't stop cheering with excitement seeing his Kuya and started calling him, in such a loud voice. It's not until Daddy imposed the strict discipline and said "NO" in a firmed voice when the misery began! He wiggled, whined and whinged his way out and tantrum followed. Dear, oh dear! What a performance! But despite the little distractions, the kids performed really well - so, it was worth taking all that grief from Will, lol. Though, I think it's a shame that the school has no longer providing creche - it was so useful then.

Local new Swimming pool..

I heard that the local community pool's renovations is completely done. After 6 years, they finally had a changed - just when we are living to another country. So, no good use for us anymore, lol. Well, for locals it'll definitely give them a chance to enjoy a family swimming weekend and such or at least, encourage the rest to use it often as a way to a healthy lifestyle. What more is, they also install a new swimming pool fence - now, this is something that they never thought putting before. Glad they did it! Oh, it's expanding too, instead of just 2 pools, its now 5. How exciting! I'm extremely anxious to go swimming one of this days. The kids had been nagging us since the re-opening. I'll certainly have to make a date for it!

Chan2x's School Christmas fair

3 Dec 2011 - was my son's School Christmas fair. We went to support it, as always even without Daddy this time as he was out with his former Navy crowd/mates. Despite the very cold wind chill, nothing stop us from going to the School fair. At least, it was dry and sunny for the outdoor photo session afterwards. I can see how the kids enjoy the day. A day well-spent indeed! Healthcare Aides

In summer, I am planning to try another job. Healthcare Aides Jobs are increasingly popular these days. But before hand, I must get a qualification or at least a course for 6 months for me to qualify the job. Some company do have training so, I can probably go for it straight away. Although, the hubby is discouraging me a lot because he knows its not my passion at all. But, I'm versatile so I can do anything, or at least try. And that, I made him agreed, for as long as there is no stripping involved, lol. There is more to life than money after all. ~~Keeping dignity is a must-do! Well, that's my choice - for my kids sake~~! Oh, I carry-on working somewhere else, while my small business is on the process!

A year ago I bought a new pair of branded sunnies only to lost it a month after? Yes, I'm that careless and I'm ain't happy about it. If I knew I would have bought a nineapair cheap sunglasses instead. Hate to think that I'm throwing money out in the dust. I work hard and earn little so I know exactly how it feel to lost a valuable thing. Anyway, I learnt my lesson not to use expensive sunglasses when I'm going out in the theme park with my kids as I tend to get my full attention to them and forget about the stuff I'm carrying with me. I must have drop it or worst, placed it somewhere like in the table where we had our food then forgot to pick it up. Yes, very annoying and frustrating at the same time. Oh well...

Wardrobe Overhaul

Like most women, I have far too many clothes that I can't even wear them all. But I would never get rid of of them. Well, not all of them anyway. I send some stuff to my family back in Philippines and some to charity too. But most of my clothes I like to keep them in stock pile in my closet. My dressing room is full of unused clothes and shoes. And yet, I keep buying some especially in sales. I can't resist a great bargains plus some rewards and coupons. Oh, having said that, I just remembered my urban outfitters coupons I got from the mail. I should redeem it sooner and maybe think of a wardrobe overhaul.

Parent Consulation Evening (Autumn Term)

Like most parents, I have something to be proud too. My very own delights, my priceless treasures, my kids! Happy to say that both K and C did so well in school.

C's school report was amazingly good. He excelled pretty much everything and he is his teacher's delight too. His teacher is extremely happy to have C in her class. Only one negative feedback is that, he is quite chatty and can ask question endlessly. [LAUGHED]

K is extremely well behaved. Like C, she is also his teacher's delight. First thing his teacher said as soon as Daddy get in the room on parent's evening was this..."Oh, I saved the best for last". What a music to our ears! She is apparently ahead of the class and is awesomely performing in all subjects. Just couple weeks before parent evening, K got a trophy for wider skills. She made us so proud and no doubt she'll go a long way! As her parents, we're always her to support whatever path she is taking.

We're so fortunate to have such an amazing kids and we can't ask for more! We're one of the proudest parents alive!

House Blings...

Talking about house blings, I have all sorts. Wherever we live, however big the house is, I can assure you that I can fill it in in just a day. Trust me, I'm one big blings fan - so crazy about house decors. But when it comes to banalabs, he is more into electronics and gadgets. Talk about television? He knows everything about what to buy and whats not to buy. He spend his time searching about it. It's been 4 years now since we bought our first big LCD HD tv (1080 100 hrts) but it didn't stop there. He also spent all this spare time looking for the best wall speakers and blu-ray player and other electronic blings to go with it. I can't complain though as I benefit it as well. And you'd think he'll be contented with it for several years, right? No way! Just after we move in to our new home, he bought another big screen. Yes, just like women with their handbags and shoes. Well, probably not quite as the same, lol. But, at the moment, he is waiting for the 3D ready television. Oh yes..........

Here comes half-term break...

My 5yo finished today and my girl not until tomorrow. Oh, you have now idea how much I look forward every term break. The freedom to lay down in the morning and sleep timelessly is something that I always missed about. Oh well, its the joy of parenthood - tiring yet rewarding, huh? Okay, so glad for this termly break for I got to rest and take a break from getting up early and walking out from my warm, snugly bed to outside - cold and freezing. Ah, my son will have 10 days break (includes weekend) and my daughter only got 9. They consumed their first day as inset day so they're paying it back now. Never mind, its only a day difference. Can't wait!

Right now, my daughter is feeding his little brother (baby Will) some jelly that she made all by herself this morning. I bought some jelly mix yesterday after work, few different flavours for I know my kids (especially my daughter) love making jellies. And since my husband and 5 yo son went out for a memorial service in Portsmouth with Grandpa today so its only Kath and baby Will enjoyed the jelly. Hoping to make some more tonight for our desserts.

Its been ages since I last posted in this blog of mine. I got hooked up with so many things lately - not to mention, my blogging mojo has gone away somewhere unreachable, lol. Well, I'm trying to chase the time as it seems going pretty quickly for me these days. Imagine, September is here and without knowing it, it'll be October....then Christmas. Time certainly flies too fast! Having said that, I have to think about my daughter's birthday soon. Oh, I have not that long to prepare - less than 8 weeks? Oh my...how can this be possible? Since yesterday's weather was hotter than we normally have, I decided and took the kids out to the local park just off from my daughter's school. To my surprised, the park really has all these newly installed equipment - exactly what my daughter said the other week. Yes, they had so much fun all afternoon playing, climbing, sliding and swinging. Though, baby Will was not well as he go a slight temperature since the day before. Poor kid was trying to play and enjoy himself fighting his weak body due to fever. Partly because, he is teething and that might caused him to be a bit under the weather. But apart from that, my older two enjoyed their simple day out with Mummy. I thanked the local council for making the park more safer, cleaner and above all, for providing an even better equipment that all kids in different ages can play and enjoy. Kudos!

What's new at work?

At last we got our new barcode scanners at work after years of working at the old ones. Finally, our branch Manager got the message in the end about the staff little voices. Not only we got the new equipment but its the top quality one. It easier and faster and no more staff complaining and whinging about those stiff keyboard and such. Now, we have this touch screen and faster barcode scanner. It really made a big difference and a much happier staff, I tell you. So, it was a good idea to suggest our views regarding what we can do to improve our store and services. That was the main thing and glad they didn't hesitate to replaced our scanners, monitors and such. It's important for a store or business to have the top equipment as it works way better!

It helped my 5 yr old son feeling better. He is now slowly getting his appetite back and slightly eating again. He started complaining for an upset stomach and not feeling well after half an hour strolling the mall last Sunday. But, we didn't pay much attention to his whinging for we thought it was just his usual trick when he gets bored strolling around the mall. We gone out only for the reason to unlock my mobile phone. Hubby got me a second one for international use to go with my Lebara simcard since its the cheaper way of keeping in touch with my family back in Philippines or ringing my friends and relatives anywhere in the world. Anyway, back to my son - he whined us all continuously until we took him down in the cafe Giavano and bought him something to eat although it was just couple of hour after our lunch. But sadly, he vomited onto his plate after few mouthful of tuna sandwich. He clearly wasn't well so, we decided to just go home since the shop didn't also succeed unlocking my phone. Got home and found Christian's temperature shooting up high. Dosed him with our usual fever medicines and lots of water. He went to sleep for few hours then starting to cough and vomited again. He was like it for 3 days and nights until we yesterday we decided to ring the Doctor and luckily got an appointment straight away. Soon after breakfast Daddy took him into the Clinic and found out he's suffering tonsillitis. He was given antibiotics and have to take it for 7 days. Today, I noticed he is a lot better already though his only eating very small amount of food as its still hurts him to swallow. But his temperature is pretty normal and no longer vomiting. It is such a relief knowing that your child is out of pain or any sickness. I can now relax and get a much better sleep just in time for my work in the morning. I can say, my son could not choose a better days to be sick. It's an off days well spent! At least, I am happier and relax going off to work tomorrow knowing that my son is at home and all better.

His way of disciplining

Guess who's in Daddy's bad book right now? Toddlers has certainly no time for resting, or is there? No, not even for a second! There is always a need of breaking things that they shouldn't even be touching. Yes, I have been through with toddlers already and 2 of my very own and yet I am not totally convinced parenting is an easy job nor mastered it. All I can say is, every child has different characters, uniquely individual. Before, I thought to be a parent/mother is just a piece of cake. I used to hear my parents and Aunts telling me to wait and see when I have kids of my own. Back then, I didn't really paid much attention to it. Only then that I first become a mother when I had to remember this common phrase. Ah, I terribly find it hard to discipline my own kids especially when they are only little like baby Will. In our house, I'm not the disciplinarian - its more like Daddy's job. Well, I do a bit but I am more drag by my softer side as I tend to fostered their curiosity around the house rather than stopping it. Its not good and I know that in the end, it will be me who'll suffer the consequences. Like tonight, baby Will is again playing/opening his Daddy's blu-rays. The cost of it each is already enough to set hubby off to whoever scratch/damaged it. Its his collection - the same to his books too. You can touch anything in the house but not his books and blu-rays, not even lending it. So, baby Will crossed that boundary and so he got told off, loudly. It made him cried for Mummy. He climbed upstairs for a comfort hug and latched on then feel asleep. Talked with hubby about his shouting and why can't he just do it in a lower tone of voice. I told him how pathetic baby Will before falling asleep. Yes, I deliberately dig it out to make him feel guilty. He only smiled and said, don't you know that I'm not happy shouting at him either. But if its the only way he'll listen then I'll do it. It's better to shout than hitting, isn't it? In that way, he is right. Hitting is a big No, No to him. If he can do disciplining our kids verbally and gently then he'll do it that way. And shouting is a-must sometimes. Though, the guilt will follow later on. Hubby is just as softy as me, to be fair. He truly hates it when he has to shout to any of them. All he wants are for his kids to grow up knowing the value of every penny. All these things in the house didn't just came without us spending money for it. Whether it is cheap or expensive - small or big things they still have to care and look after it, regardless.

HTC Desire 2.2

Honestly, I nearly end up buying htc desire 2.2 without even thinking how much it would cost me per month. That's how I loved it! If I wasn't offered a better deal from the man who work in a phone shop next door I would have gone for this HTC phone. I'm really into it and was close to give it a try as it sounded like a great phone according to what I've heard from many many users. Also, another reason for getting the first offer was, I was desperate to get a new phone because my old one were so crappy with no coverage anywhere. The aerial must have been damaged after it was run over by our previous neighbours. Nah, if I have more budget I could have gone for HTC desire but had to be practical especially when the economy is still a little shaky. Although, HTC was my first choice! But, there is always next time:)

As described above on the header - baby Will is quite a handful. Put him down and the next thing you'll know he's already somewhere running further away from you. This fearless little monster is causing us stress on this day. Imagine, he was out of our sight for a minute and thought he was already picked-up by strangers but thanked God he was only playing with the balloons in one of the store. So, Daddy's job was to keep him guarded every minute and every second. He couldn't keep up for this little trouble is as fast as the train, haha. By the end of the day, Daddy was worn out - well, it should help him get trim a bit, haha. He has to get fit to keep up with his little son, lol. Damage kitchen floor caused by leakage...

Glad for hubby's knowledge in plumbing and other DIY jobs. This is the case: Our kitchen flooded few weeks ago. I rang hubby to let him know about it as I was pretty dumb to work out what had cause it. The only thing I thought was the shower as that is when I noticed the leaking and flood right after my daughter's shower. When I came down to the kitchen all I see was water all over the floor. Luckily, there was this guys working on our sun room and had a look. I told them my thought was and they we're neither agreeing or disagreeing. In short, they were also unsure where the water leaks came from. Spoke to hubby again and he told straight away what he thought it is. As soon as he arrived, he went outside and open up the drainage just in the back of our kitchen and found out that the mobile phone was causing it all and created the whole blockage. Then I already knew who did it. Huh? Not hard thing to work out as we only have one little monster in our house who love dropping things to the Loo. It's baby Will because Kuya is already outgrown this kind of thing. Yes, it damaged our kitchen floor but thanked God for insurance. Ah, I can't promise to keep an eye to him 24/7. Well, I'll try...

It has been a while the last time we saw Great Granny. If I remember rightly, it was Christmas when we last saw her. So, its been nearly 7 months passed so, we are due to visit her this summer. While the kids are growing to fast, she also grown too old. If God will continue to give her good health, this October she'll turn 97 yrs old - how great? I'm keen for her to see the vast changes of baby Will's social interaction and how he gradually developed and turn into a little boy in just 6 months. She'll surely be fascinated of him just like she used to with the other grand kids. Ah, I can't wait to see how she's doing too and how she coped living on her own (though I stressed she'll get helped from this special lady down there everyday) but still I strongly admires her for surviving quite happily all this years. She's a fighter, no doubt! She's hilariously funny - straight forward and very frank too. Always enjoy spending time with her. So must I say - we have to book our dates soon to visit her.

Sugar Addiction and Carbs...

An Addiction to sugar and carbohydrates are the most common problems for over weight people. Studies show that at least two-third of obese people suffer from sugar and carbohydrates dependency. Having said that, I, myself struggles to avoid those kind of cravings. I can't completely deprive myself. One day, I'm not eating any then the next day I absolutely filled my system with stuff that I should be avoiding. Its not easy to stick to a plan. So, I guess totally depriving ain't a good technique so best is, to eat a bit each day. Well, for the meantime I am trying to shrink my weight a bit. Yes, keeping your weight low is a such a struggle especially when there are tons of temptation around. No doubt, sooner I will go for diet pills - if not, the best diet pills available. Honestly, I have no hesitation or whatsoever about trying diet pills. As soon as I stop nursing my little one, I'll definitely give it a go. But first, I should try to minimise my sugar and calorie intakes. Yeah, right! [Sighed]

Even at this very young age - my toddler has learnt a lot. What really amaze me is how quickly and funny his social interactions to us and to other people. Like my other children, we witness pretty much the same - the basic — waving, smiling, playing peekaboo, and following simple instructions — though these are all only first steps in establishing his personal social style that are learned through imitation. His also able to initiate displays of affection and he'll give back what he receives. If you show affection with hugs and kisses, he will likely, too. Ah, having a toddler made our life a lot happier and fun. Every day, he never cease to make us laugh. We certainly enjoy him more and more at this age. Here are few of his latest snaps...

An Easy Option

I have been thinking about going back to study lately but I just can't afford losing my small income yet. Its my only way of contributing a little to our daily expenses as most of it goes to my family back in Philippines for my siblings, nieces and nephews school fees. What I could actually do is to apply for an online accredited degrees at the same time keep my part-time job. There are too many advantages of obtaining a college diploma. Yes, earning an advanced degree can lead to an increase in salary, it wouldn't be instant but for the near future. Its the main reason why I am so keen on pursuing my plans. I know I can do it - if other's can so, can I! I could have joined the City Guild at work but I just couldn't leave my little one yet. So, the best bet is to go for online accredited courses. Not only cost me nothing in child care also, I don't need to commute elsewhere. It's totally convenient for a Mum like me who wanted to do better, career wise.

My little one now knows few parts of his body such as his nose, mouth, tummy, tin2x (willy), hands and sometimes ears (if he remembers, haha). Not everything shown in this video of course but he can actually point where those parts of his body. As they say, do not underestimate the toddlers brain. They are just as clever and probably a quick learners too. Well, that's how I noticed with babies as what I've experienced from my eldest down to my youngest. Best of all, babies are fascinating and fun. They can switched your mode in just a second. Certainly my little one does, well sometimes my older two as well. But as they grow older they can get a bit annoying especially when they asked too many questions at once, lol. Anyway, here's my 16 months old showing off his few silly faces in front of the camera. He will even say "cheese" straight away once he'll see you carrying a camera. [LAUGHED]!

As a parent we always want nothing but the best for our kids. For instance, good education. But that doesn't mean we have to provide everything gadgets wise. Don't get me wrong though, my kids ain't completely deprived as they have few electronics games. Only one thing we made sure that they ain't having PC's in their rooms. No way! Yes, they have our permission to use one of our PC here at home like when they do their assignments, games and etc, but, under our supervision that is. Besides, the school provides laptops for students for whoever kids didn't have computers at home can still do their assignments and research. Its pretty normal for a parent to guide their kids and raised them as normal as possible. We don't want them turned into techs addict at such a very young age nor spoiled them by giving what they want. Not even Bill Gates who is a billionaire (2nd world richest man in this planet). Being a good parent is not all about spoiling the children - certain occasions, maybe? Sometimes, they have to learn the hard ways so they'll be able to stand at their own feet.

Though Father's day is over ain't mean that we could no longer buy them a presents. In our home, we count everyday as Daddy's day. So, from time-to-time we hand him little something as a "thank you" for being such a wonderful Daddy. Here's the place where we get our small yet great cheap gifts dad will love. The kids got to choose every time we buy Daddy something. Its becoming a habit already to appreciate the hard works that their Daddy's showing them. Kids don't need to buy, it doesn't need to be costly and expensive - they can create/make it and as long as its from the heart, then its special. How are you all? Sorry for it has been a while to update this blog. I was pretty occupied with some other things at our end. As we are still on the process of organising and making our "new home" presentable as humanly possible. It seems endless revamping from one room to another and yes it cost us fortune. On the top of that, I'm also taking extra hours of shift (OT) hoping it will at least top-up my shrinking bank balance. Taking advantage of the time when I don't need to pay for baby sitter as much as I could get away with it. Yeah, I'm this busy. At the moment, I have this spare time while little one is at his siesta. So, I have the time to browsed-away and unfortunately stumbled to this hilarious lingerie shop and couldn't resist the temptation to buy this sexy garters that are on sale - but, with this unsure thoughts if I ever get back to my lean body. If not, then it would be so useless to buy such thing, isn't it? Got to get myself hook into this new dance-craze, Zumba - I think. From what I heard, it will definitely keep you leaner. Ah, had to work on it!

Yay! Our princess is growing like a weed. Everyday, we can't thanked God enough of how blessed we are to have such a beautiful baby girl. We continue to pray that she'll stay good and behave all through her life especially when she hit teens. Honestly, I am scared of the thoughts that soon I will have a teenager. How it will be like when she hit that stage of her life. Challenging I would have thought. Oh well, whatever happens - (we) as a her parent, will be always here for her.

Recently, we have switched our insurances as part of moving house. But before we proceeded further we search through all different quotes. Here I am again with my random web browsing in the middle of the night prolonging even more my-already-late bedtime. Ah, just going to finish off reading about slimvox reviews and I should be heading off to bed land. Yeah, I'm so utterly exhausted now that I can hardly open eyes. To think that I'm also getting up really early in the morning for work. Oh, it'll be a long day ahead of me - working 8 hours is a little unusual for me. Goodness! Its already half passed midnight and I'm still here in the living room sitting trying to catch up BGT. After having a huge and heavy meal I feel so sluggish to even get up and get myself a drink. Feelin' crappy and guilty after munching the whole cheese pizza. Apart from disliking my late bedtime routine I also hate midnight snacking. But again, it my choice to stay awake due to online commitments. Besides, its the only time of the day that I am completely hand free - no baby who's very demanding and keeps bugging me to play or carry or go outside in the garden. Finally, I can concentrate my blogging task and any other web browsing. I must say that I am not at all late every night as there are times that I can't be bothered to even open my PC (though not often) but at least I have moments where I give my eyes and body rest away from the monitors. It ain't good after all. Also, I always make sure to balance everything especially when it comes to health and beauty rest. My kids couldn't made us any prouder. Both Ate K and Kuya C are doing really great. Every week they have quizzes and homeworks and as always they both showed perseverance and determination to do well in each week - few occasions that Kuya C may lost interest but thats because he gets distracted with electronics games and televisions. But, in overall performance both are exceptionally good and so, we couldn't ask for more. We just hope and pray that they'll continue to do great in school until they bring home degree diploma's. Ah, sorry for gloating!

Hubby's lost weight

Have I mentioned lately how my husband is doing with his diet? He's only giving up bread and he already lost about 2 kilos. What more if he'll give up cola's too? He can now wear his size 17 and a half shirt. Once he'll lost 5 kilos he can start doing few exercise to tone his abs. Might be a challenge for him but its not impossible. He can even start looking for best muscle building supplement if want to. But for now, I think he is doing great in his first move. At least, he's started losing weight and thats a pretty good sign. Way to go, husby! We will never know by next summer he'll be up wearing mankini with me in the beach, lol. I love him to bits!

Goodness, I was wholly surprised with my daughters ability to holahoops. She can do it very well and I was like, where did she learn it from? Me and hubby are useless - we hardly do one hoop. In all my life, hooping is one of my failures. Never did I thought my daughter would be as good as I dream to be. Only bought her a holahoop twice and the first time was when she was 5 yrs old and got broken a week after. So, few weeks ago bought her another one and she showed us how good she was. I told her she should do it more because its a pretty good stomach exercise. I took some video but haven't really downloaded it yet but once I will I'll share it here in my blog for you all to see how good my baby girl can do holahoops. She's great!

Growing up in a countryside was the best thing I have experienced in life. Like many teenagers, I experienced acne's too. It's been a month since we moved and still a lot of stuff unpacked. Rooms are untidy and unorganised - waiting for the cupboards and beds to be delivered. Didn't expect Daddy's PC and desktop to be delivered that early before the beds and cupboards - it arrived yesterday morning. While I was waiting for the utility knife that I ordered few weeks ago, the water man knocked-in and asked me to sign the papers regarding our water bills. Huh, that was unplanned - I was still on my very thin PJ's, nipples were visible, no wonder this man's eyes were rolling like a mad dog, haha. Anyway, so much for that, I have to start my day clearing out stuff from the garage. Might find my old shoes that were stored years ago. Have a blessed day!

The sun out today has put a massive smile on my face! Incredible what good weather does to mood :) Ah, loads of stuff waiting for me to do today - at least, I got the kids summer uniforms ready. They're going back tomorrow and Thursday then off again on Friday and back next Tuesday. Another long weekend this week and thats because of the Royal wedding. Uh, I'm still so worn out from the weekends OT - long day at work made me so exhausted. I'm definitely not getting any younger - signs, signs, signs! I have been working long hours since Friday and today is no exception. I'll be off to work in an hour and will not finish 'til 5pm later in the afternoon. Hubby and the kids are going to PIL's place to celebrate Easter Monday with them - maybe another egg hunting. I'm pondering to cancel my OT tomorrow as it is the kids last day of no school. I have tons of things need to prepare by then and I guess not working would really help me get everything done. So, I take it as a day off until next Friday. Huh? I still have to do more shopping for decorations such as shower curtains and such. I think there'll be a post-easter sale sometime this week - I could get a bargain! Ah, will check online first. Numerous of men who also love themselves just like women. Either they go to gym or just buy their own exercising equipment like pull up bar and such to keep them fit. Not so different from women at all. But as for my personal experienced, I really find it hard to lower my calories and carbs intake. Its like I am going to die without or my day won't be complete without rice, potato and noodles. And these are the kinds of food that contains high calories and carbs. No wonder my tummy always look bloated. As to hubby, I am so proud of him giving up bread for nearly a month now and it does made a difference. Its one of the reason why he put so much weight over the years. He start munching and snacking sandwiches with tons cheese when bored. Until he realised, he is overweight and decided to diet and cutting bread is a big step. I must say, you don't need to push or tell a person to lose weight because, if this person wants to do it, he'll eventually do it without anybody pressuring him. The more pressure you gave, the more they eat. Hubby has lost already a kilo and plenty more kilos to go before he is ready to wear mankini, haha. I fancy a pull up bar for him, treadmill and few other exercising equipment. Soon...

Christian: Thats not true, mummy! Because, I'm the first handsome boy and baby Will is only second.

Moi: Oh yes, thats right! How can I forget? Silly me! You are my first gorgeous boy and my handsome dude. [shame on me! lol]...

Often times I read about skin care reviews and this time I got really interested into it. All of a sudden I thought of buying and trying one for myself and see if its really that good. You tell me if you don't have a flat screen lcd tvs in your house. I bet this kind of technology has corrupted many people in the world. I wouldn't blame you - its high resolution viewing especially the full HD has definitely convinced billions of consumers around the globe. What more, the life of LCD tv's is longer than plasma's. Hubby got one 3 years ago and until now, it's as good as brand new. The picture quality is absolutely topnotch. Hubby's only problem is that he is pondering for something even bigger like the 60 inches LCD flat screen tv - he would probably buy it right now if money is not an issue. But, for him priority always come first. Obviously a new television isn't our priority this time. We have tons of things we needed for the new house. So, it can wait!

It seems only yesterday when I popped little William out my tummy. But now he's everywhere - all over the place, climbing up and down and making a mess all day long. Literally, only a second after putting every single mess back to its place then he's there again taking it all out. How can that be so fair for me? Gone are those days when he stays still wherever I put him down. Ah, time certainly flies! I just have to be grateful that he is well and healthy all this time. Also, things will get better soon as we moved to our new home. It's the space we need all this years and we are thankful for the great help from the family. We are moving and I'm kinda busy preparing everything for our new house. Decorating will be my part and of course furnishing my kids rooms. The healthier the happier....

This afternoon as we walked along the back part of the town we saw this huge woman with her kids struggling to walk and still munching chocolates. I was like, what the heck! Instead of exercising they choose to feed their fat faces even more. Ah, what they're like? Parents should always remember the importance of life. Not all the time, we have to think of food - also, we have to give attention to our health especially to our kids. Me, when I realised that my Kath was getting chubbier I cut down all the bad food straight away. I explain to her that it ain't doing great on her health and to the rest of the family. I did it first - showed her that I won't eat any more junks. I had to buy all healthy food - cooked healthy dishes more on grilled and salad and also I made sure they're active every after school and weekends too not just watch television all day. And, it worked! Kath has now slimmed down and lost most of her chubbiness. The same with Christian, he looks a lot better this year and both are happier. I was so proud of myself and doing it made me feel happier too. Its never too late to try and do the best you can for your kids sake. If diet pills can help then why not try it along with a healthy food and snacks. But, I suggest to check out the top listed diet pills seller first before commiting to buy. But apparently, adapexin-p is highly recommended this days. Whatever works for you and your kids, then do it. We must remember, there is no one to blame but ourselves if our kids turn our to be fat. We have the full control of what they eat. As long as they are living with us they have to follow rules. Luckily, my kids are not that bad. They tend to listen what I say apart from few occasions, lol.

Four seasons Pizza

This is what I order every time we dined it at Pizza Express as hubby suggested for he know how much I loved anchovy. They served it the best among others. The best part of this Pizza is the anchovy toppings - its taste really good. The same with pasta, I always ordered seafood ones. Ah, maybe part of it is, I missed seafood as I was raised and grow up in an island with nothing but fish/seafood to eat everyday. And now that I'm here in UK I tend to missed all that and so, once in a while hubby has to treat me with all this kind of food that I long to eat. I must say, he is awesome for he always find a way to make me happy. He occasionally prepare and cook Filipino dishes and not to mention frying some fish for me too even if he can't stand the smell. He is that great!

Bucket list...

When I was young I had my bucket list of places and countries to visit. Unfortunately, until now none of it I've visited at all. Italy was my first choice of country to visit and that was like 15 yrs ago? And now, even if I lived only 2 hours away (by plane) to that country still I haven't done it. Yeah, its like too close and yet too far. Disneyland in Florida was my number 2 then Egypt was my 3rd and so on. Not to mention, Carolina too was among of the few US states that I would love to visit one day. Who knows (~~aparador~~) maybe this summer, next summer, or even the summer after when my dreams will begin to come true. Yeah, I am still patiently waiting and willing to do so until my hair turns gray, lol. Anyway, looks like Carolina would be an ideal place to visit first. Besides, I have a friend there who plans to tie the know next year. We are invited to her big day and though she offer us her place to stay still its too much to accept, ain't it? So, I said that it would be easier for us and for the kids to rent a house while we're there. Outer Banks beach rentals is only a step away from their place anyway. Its the best way to do it especially with 3 kids in tow. We will see...

No to scuba diving...

Looked like someone has enjoyed more than her kids on their Aquarium visit couple weeks ago. Well, who wouldn't? With all these beautiful fishes in the water. Yeah, I love looking all different sea creatures. But then hubby always made a point with his belief that I'll enjoy it even more when I see it naturally under the water and that only if I'll go with him to scuba diving. Huh, he must be joking! No way, Jose! Never in my life I would go scuba diving, oh no! I'm scared....I don't know how to swim and besides, I panic under water. I know there will be instructor and all those rescue staff with me but I'm still not convinced. I enjoyed it more via Aquariums and that'll do me for now until I'm ready to go down 1000 feet under the water. Hmmmm, the thought of it give me ghost bumps already. Huh, call me scaredy cat all you like but I ain't going under the sea.

Our Usual Sunday

Today, we had our usual Sunday walked but before it we had our lunch at our favourite Curry Restaurant in the town as they served a buffet every Sunday lunch time. Again, it was perfectly served hot food, we all enjoyed it. Maybe ate too much but again you have to make the most of your money. After, we stopped by at Collingwood before we head out to our afternoon walk and bought few kitchen stuff (a huge cooking pot and champagne flutes) - it was 50% off, a real bargain! Anyway, we had our final date to move and glad hubby already found a great deal for insurances and than include the house insurance too. He got the best deal and looks like we're sticking to it for many years to come. Its always important for us (their customer) to be happy and satisfied of their services. So, if any of you out there who are looking for insurances then you should visit here, its the site where they have listed all the trusted insurances providers. With this economic crisis were all facing lately being screwed up would be the last thing we want to come across with. So, beware!

My son is exactly it. He often get away murders because of his charm mixed with sense of humour. Everyday, he never failed to make me laugh. Though, he has always say on everything that is why Daddy had to named him a "chattering lory" but always in a funny way. When he's asked? He'll give you a whole lot of explanation with lots of "but/s" and "because". He's such a loud little boy with endless questions too but surprisingly not in the school as he listen and raised his hand before he talk. Here's a few photos I captured during our trip to Brighton aquarium when he was chattering all the way even when we had our snacks. He just can't stop, lol.

With my first child, couple months after I was skinny as twig, no scratching marks, no cellulites - it was like I didn't have a child or I haven't gotten pregnant at all. But, little did I care about my body on that time anyway. Then shockingly enough I've grown so much (widely) after my 2nd child as I put nearly 60 pounds during my pregnancy, nearly twice as much as the weight I put on during my first pregnancy. But then, who would have thought I've lost it all 6 months after I had my son (Christian)? I was nursing him (breasfeeding) and he latching-on day and night, pretty much 24/7 and that alone has helped me get back into my regular weight so easily and quickly without using any weight loss pills. Yes, I was that lucky until I had my youngest, baby William. Imagine, how much weight I gained with my 2nd child? Then, it's 12lbs more with baby William but ,its apparently normal for a third pregnancy. But I expected to lose weight the same period of time however, I failed for until now I haven't completely back in my regular size yet. Not that easy anymore especially that I'm surrounded with friends who are great cook. Plus, partying every week (food feasting) ain't helping at all. Not a soda drink either. But then, I'm happier and I get less homesickness too. So, that's all it matters really.

I'm nowhere perfect but I always give my best and so far its great. I love being a mother and wouldn't swap it for the world. Being a mother is the best thing that ever happened to me - my kids are my greatest treasure in life. I love them all, fairly - no favourites. I praised them whenever they do good and will tell them off whenever they do wrong. They're not spoiled either - whatever they have (toys/gadgets) is/was a reward for their good behaviour.

Giving thermogenesis a try...

It has been pretty miserable weather we had lately but today we got lucky for Mister Sunshine is out all day. So, dragged the kids out to the park early this morning. Well, wasn't that early for most people (quarter passed 10) but for us/me it was. Supposedly taking baby Will to weigh but for some reason I completely lost track of days, I thought today is Wednesday but obviously not, lol. So, missed it till next Wednesday again. It has been a while since the last time I took him. Oh well, we had a nice time at the park instead, burning some fats out while playing around with the kids. Also, we had a little run this morning on our way there - so, that should count as exercise. I have been making sure that me and my kids are active every spring and summer - its the only time of the year that we can be. I'd wish hubby was with us though but since he works pretty much everyday and only on weekends when he is able to join us doing activities. Having said that, he is about to start his dieting for he badly need to lose a lot of weight. Having a stressful work and life, a fit and healthy body is a must. I might suggest him this thermogenesis thingy - he should at least give it a try, might be good for him. Hopefully soon he'll do what he promised as I'm getting so worried of his health. A person itself (except the kids) has the only right to look after their health, no one else. If hubby will do his diet and lost weight, I'll be the happiest wife alive.

Above is our photo last Mummy's day with my elder two. Little Willy was asleep then and so he missed our photoshoot. I was still swollen from giving birth - it was just over a month since I had my William. Nevertheless, I was all happy goofing around the camera with my Kath and Chan2x. We had so much fun making silly faces. Glad it all came out good! Another memories to behold!

Btw, I can't wait for another Mother's day. It'll be in couple weeks time - though hubby is a bit fed up buying gifts. He said, it never ends, lol.

Talking about weight loss, I've lost a few pounds since I last weighed myself and that was few months ago. Huh, who said losing weight is easy? Well, to those who are naturally skinny and slim then maybe it is easy but for me who have a potential to grow wide it is hard especially when there are tons of food around. I wouldn't say its easy though because I believe that if you keep on eating more than your body needs then you'll eventually grow bigger and bigger. For many people I know, they tend to control their food intake and I wouldn't believe when people talked about how much they ate and still didn't gain any weight at all. Let them live with me and I'll feed them loads and see if they will never put a pounds. I'll put money on it that they will. So, lets not talk BS here for we all know that our weight depends on how we eat. It is exactly the same on how we control our facial look. If we overtired ourselves and sleep less night after night then dark circles will eventually develop under our eyes. When/If it will, we'll panic and asked, how to get rid of dark circles under my eyes? Its a simple answer, take a regular sleep at least 8 hours a night as its a-must for human being - then, for sure you won't get dark circles under your eyes. If you do then it is pure ageing. And, I would recommend you to get a special cream for it. Aren't we lucky for there are lots of alternative solution these days. Looking great ain't necessarily mean spending tons of money. Regular exercise, balanced diet and healthy lifestyle are the prime factor.

Taller and Slender

Its only last year spring when I realised that my baby girl has grown widely and so I did something about it. Every after school I walked them around the neighbourhood with their scooters. I stopped giving them snack after 6pm and also lessen their bread intake as well as junks. No sweets, no crisp! All healthy and in proper meal and snack time not just nibbles whenever they feel like it or I feel like it. I strictly imposed a routine with her and to her younger brother too. And hey, it worked! Kath has grown taller and slender for the past 8 months and I'm so happy of the outcome - its a reward for our hard work, its priceless. Kath is now much happier and confident plus healthy and so active mentally and physically. My son is also looking a lot better and has shred a few pounds too. How delightful to see my kids looking well! Here's few recent photo of my growing princess...

I tend to get acne's month after month specially during my period but I never worry because I know there are always a natural acne remedies that I can rely on. I am really pondering on getting some diet pills for my sister back in Philippines as she struggling to lose weight after her only daughter and that was like 11 yrs ago? Oh my, is that long already? As expected Chan2x got a pile of presents from his friends and the biggest one in the bottom pile is from Ate Gail and it's his favourite. Never mind the quality here its the quantity that counts, lol. For a 5 yr old boy - its certainly is. He was the happiest celebrant on earth that Daddy thrown a party for him and was able to invite all his classmates. He asked if he can have another party next year when he's 6 and Daddy said, No just a small party in the new house.

How do you guys like hip hop clothes? Looking back when I was a teenager I wear nothing but hip and trendy kind of clothing. It was my thing back then and I really believed I looked cool. Well, obviously I did on that time but now I am more into lady type of clothes. Now, I am more on dress, skirts and tights. But I still there are days when I want to be just comfortable and wear tee-shirt and jeans. Nothing is more comfy than that - its what most people wear everyday. Talking about hip-hop clothing, I think my son is up for it. He's already have a sensible taste of fashion and once he'll pick a clothes when we are out shopping, I can't argue him anymore. He definitely has his own mind unlike couple years ago when I can just grab any clothes I fancy for him. Oh, gone are those days!

The other night me and hubby talked about his job and the new staff he interviewed recently. And for some reason, I asked him if ever I apply a job within his region would he be able to interview me or would his company allowed him to interview me? His answer was this..."No, because I would only be interviewing people in management jobs as I am a senior"...so it means, he's not interviewing my sort of level. Then I proceeded why he is doing interview with the new cleaner? He said, he's only doing a favour as the woman who supposed to do this job was ill (caught a flu) and on a sick leave. After our conversation, I thought of pursuing a degree but have to decided what would I love to do in the future. I'm not getting younger and so is hubby so at least if he retire I can still carry on working even if its not as much as he earn. I'm hoping to start and enroll myself soon...got to grab the chance while I still have time as opportunity only come once.

No gift for him yet...

Hubby is looking to buy a new computer desk top and that would be right after we move. Gosh, not that long really - couple more weeks to go. I offered him a gateway desktops as his valentines gift but he refused because he is pondering on something else. Well, as long as mine is all wrapped up and ready for me in the morning:). I'm not expecting too much here just a box and all wrap up, lol. Anyway, I am still not sure what to give to my bana labs - I don't even have a card for him yet. I will stop by to the shops on my way back home after sending the kids to school in the morning since hubby are going to work and won't be home until 6pm so, I still have time to think and buy at least a little something to open tomorrow. Ah, ins't a man should only give something to a woman on V-day? If it is then at least I am covered if I'll come home with empty hand in the morning.
